Transformational decarbonisation research
We’re part of collaborative research activity awarded a Queen’s Anniversary Prize for decarbonisation.
The prize is awarded to decarbonisation research under the leadership of Prof. Dave Worsley at Swansea University.
The award is for the transformational work in integrated steel and solar cell technology for low-carbon buildings construction, heat storage and renewable energy.
SaMI is part of a group called SWITCH working together, delivering regional decarbonisation for industry and a green economy for the people of Wales.
